1975-82 Engaged by the late Sir John Pritchard as repetiteur and continuo player for Glyndebourne Festival and Touring Opera Companies.
1980 Engaged by Brent Walker Film Company as Studio Conductor for the filming of the complete Gilbert & Sullivan operas.
1984-91 Permanent post as Assistant Chorus Master, Royal Opera House

1997 - present Professor of Vocal Repertoire, Royal College of Music

Other musical engagements have included:

Official accompanist for the Kathleen Ferrrier Memorial Scholarship (3 years) and the Richard Tauber Memorial Scholarship (3 years).

Official accompanist and vocal coach for the National Opera Studio (10 years).

Contracts with the BBC, Kent Opera, Welsh National Opera, The Northern Ireland Opera Trust, Opera Rara, University College Opera, The Camden Festival,  La Monnaie (Brussels) and Gothenburg Opera (Sweden).

Concert recital work has included numerous performances with singers and instrumentalists at the BBC, The Wigmore Hall, The South Bank, and venues throughout the United Kingdom, as well as engagements in Europe and the Far East.

In June 1997 engaged by The Wagner Society to play for a concert in the Rudolph Steiner Theatre, as a fund-raising event for The Bayreuth Bursary.   The programme included music from “Tannhauser”, “Tristan and Isolde”, “Parsifal” and “The Ring”, with Alberto Remedios and Liane Keegan among the soloists. 

In May 1998 engaged as producer by Silva Screen Records, for an album of operatic arias and film music with Tito Beltran as soloist, which was recorded in Prague.   

In July 1998 conducted the North-West London Orchestra in a programme of popular classics with Nelly Miricioiu and Alberto Remedios as soloists.
